Gregory A. Broderick, MD


Gregory A. Broderick, MD, is Program Director of the Urology Residency, a member of the Continuous Professional Development Committee, and Vice-Chair Graduate Medical Education Committees at the Mayo Clinic Florida. Dr. Broderick’s practice is focused on Men’s Health: benign prostate hyperplasia, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, urethral stricture disease, and male stress incontinence. Dr. Broderick earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He completed surgical internship at Yale New Haven Hospital. He returned to UCSF for urologic residency; he completed a fellowship in neuro-urology, Incontinence and Impotence at UC Davis.

He is a founding member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and has served on the Board of Directors for Sexual Medicine Society of North America. He was elected President of SMSNA (2005-2006). In service to SMSNA he has chaired the Web site, Publications, Education and Industry Relations Committees.

He has served the American Urological Association as Committee Member and author of Clinical Guidelines on priapism, premature ejaculation, and erectile dysfunction and was Scientific Chair for the 16th Annual Meeting of Sexual Medicine Society North America, November 2010, and Scientific Co-Chair to Cancer Survivorship and Sexual Health Symposium, June 2011. In 2012 he was elected as Member at Large to the Board of Directors of International Society of Sexual Medicine, and serves that organization as Co-Chair of the Education and Ethics Committees. As of spring 2013, Dr. Broderick has 222 publications (abstracts, articles, chapters and books).
